"To the virgins, make much of time" by Robert Herrick

GATHER ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to-day
To-morrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,
The higher he's a-getting,
The sooner will his race be run,
And nearer he's to setting.

That age is best which is the first,
When youth and blood are warmer;
But being spent, the worse, and worst
Times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time,
And while ye may go marry:
For having lost but once your prime
You may for ever tarry.

Okay, Master Herrick. We get your point. We're trying,

Heck, who knew dating could be such an evangelisitic activity?

My Introduction

Alright, I'm Mitrethief here (love those hats), but my main blogs are Anglican Avenger (in English) and De Rerum Scriptura (in Latin). I still haven't figured out how to do linking here. I'm a cradle Episcopalian, baptised by an openly gay priest, currently under two women priests (awkward phrasing, I know, but I can't say priestess), ping-ponging between high and progressive branches. But I'm disappearing for a week for Latin Immersion Camp, so I'll comment more when I return. I would just like to thank Josh for inviting me to join.

Introducing Team Member Josh

I suppose I'm the first victim, eh?

My name is Joshua Ligan, and I'm currently living in Elk Grove, California. My primary blog is Quaerite Dominum.

I'm a student at St. John's College, Nottingham, and I just got out of classes for a short respite! I'm happily taking a break with my cousin in Hayes (which is in Greater London) to go sightseeing, but I'm really distressed I broke my camera as I accidentally dropped it into a sink. I was trying to photograph my suite at school, and I leaned too far over the kitchen counter. It's really suck because I couldn't wait to take photos in front of the Chapel of St. Peter's ad Vincula in the Tower of London. I was really excited too. At least my lappy is intact, so that's a plus. I'm stealing someone's wireless connection, haha.

I spring from the Evangelical Catholic movement within the High Church faction of the Anglican Communion. So that means I enjoy swinging thuribles and praying the Roman Catholic rosary, whilst singing praise music at the Eucharist.

Honestly, I can't think of anything else today as I'm quite exhausted from blogging earlier (check out my primary blog), but I'll get back to chasing bishops sometime, haha.

Welcome to The Chasing Bishops Project

We are still constructing ourselves and adding more team members to contribute. Pardon our dust.

Our intent is to weave a rich tapestry of voices from all across the Anglican Communion. We invite you to join in this project and journey with us.
